The conference is focused on the “Latest advances in the extrusion of light alloys” and any related simulation issue. The papers will describe the most recent developments in the Extrusion Technology as well as new related technologies. Process optimization, die technology, new systems or control systems are only some examples of the key subjects covered by the conference.

Invited papers will be presented on perspectives and ongoing research in extrusion technology and simulation. A poster session will also be organized. Contributions from Industries, Research Center as well as Academia related to the following topics are of relevant interest. Papers language will be English.

Submission and editorial system for ICEB 2013

Publication

Contributes will be selected for acceptance on the basis of the abstract submission (long abstract). Definition of oral or poster presentation will be performed on the basis of the full paper submission. A selection of the contributes to be presented in the oral sessions will be realized by the reviewing committee, based on the originality of the topic, of the correctness of the methodology and the clearness of the results.

Papers will be reviewed by 2 international referees; the accepted papers, will be published either in a special issue of Key Engineering Materials or in the conference proceedings as indicated by the authors.

Abstracts and benchmark results will be published in the conference proceedings. Abstracts, papers, benchmark simulations and results together with PowerPoint presentations will be available on conference CD.

Only one paper will be published for each registered author. For multiple papers submission, in case of final acceptance, a supplementary paper fee is required.
